Flex Loans Online is a loan connection service, not a lender: lenders pay us for successful connections, borrowers pay us nothing, and this page explains the business model completely, because a lending site that will not explain how it earns is telling you something.
What We Are
We operate a marketplace: one borrower request, presented to a network of independent, state-licensed lenders and lending partners, who each decide independently whether to make an offer. We do not make credit decisions, do not set rates or terms, do not service loans, and are not a party to any loan agreement. The lender whose offer you accept is the company you borrow from, and its agreement governs everything that follows.
How We Are Paid
Network lenders and lending partners compensate us when a request we present results in a connection or a funded loan. This compensation is our entire revenue: we charge borrowers no fees of any kind, at any stage, ever. Compensation amounts vary by lender and can influence which lenders' offers you see or the order in which participating lenders receive requests; it does not change the terms any lender offers you, which each lender sets independently under its own criteria and its state licensing.
What This Means for You
Three practical implications. First, our service being free to you is structural, not promotional, the lender side of the market pays for the matching. Second, our network is not the whole market: offers through this site may not represent the best terms available to you anywhere, and we publish a 26-lender comparison, a rates guide, and a calculator precisely so you can judge any offer, ours included, against the field. Third, no compensation arrangement obligates you to anything: declining every offer costs nothing.
Lending Disclosure
Loan amounts through the network run $500 to $5,000. APRs, fees, and repayment terms are set solely by the lender that reviews your request, vary by lender and by state, and are disclosed in each offer and agreement as federal truth-in-lending rules require. Representative example: a $2,000 personal loan repaid over 24 months at 24% APR costs about $106 per month, roughly $2,537 in total, an estimate only; your actual terms depend entirely on your lender. Submitting a request does not guarantee a connection or an approval. Personal loans are credit: late or missed payments may involve fees and can affect your credit standing, and every agreement deserves a full read before signature.
State Availability
Lending is regulated state by state. The lenders able to see your request, and the terms they may offer, depend on your state of residence, and residents of some states may receive fewer or no offers. Every lender in the network answers to the licensing authority of the states it serves.
